Situation

• Help on many aspects of neighborhood design project Soil Lab for the Chicago Architecture Biennial.
  

Response

• Researched and sourced 20 cubic yards of soil mix appropriate to rammed-earth design project;
• Sampled, tested and analyzed soils on-site;
• Provided recommendations on responsible re-distribution of soil mix and further remediation of naturalized soils on-site;
• Led three-hour soil class for community members and biennial supporters.
